MediaMTX

MediaMTX is a media server and media proxy that allows to read, publish, proxy and record video and audio streams.

Service Setup

to get started with our services. You need to join our discord server and Open a Ticket after competing these steps.

  1. Allocate your first port in the Network tab
  2. Take your newly created allocation (port) and input it into the RTMP Port in the startup tab
  3. In the Startup tab; Create a unique Stream Name, Stream Username, And Stream password
  4. Start your server, it will regeneratre "Setup-Readme-Links.txt" with the apropriate connection url

it's recomended to use a random password generator for "Stream Username". "Stream Password"

If you haven't had your ticket completed with us your server will fail to start.

Getting Started

First Launch Guide (one time setup)

  1. Download and install OBS
  2. Setup a basic scene capturing your screen or specific application
  3. Change your bitrate and encoder (x.264|h.264 Required) (6500 kbps max bitrate)
  4. Copy the "To OBS:" link in "Setup-Readme-Links.txt" in the files tab on the panel
  5. in OBS Go to settings; Stream tab; click the "Service" dropdown; Select Custom
  6. Paste the "To OBS:" link in the stream field; Authentication is handled in the connection URL

Relaying from our Services

Relaying your stream

  1. Make sure your service has been started; and you are Streaming to the relay
  2. Navigate to files tab; Open "Setup-Readme-Links.txt"
  3. Copy the "(RTSP) TO TV/Monitor:" Link (CTRL + C)
  4. Paste the link into your application
